L’école nationale de Hué (Quoc Hoc Hue)

L’école nationale de Huê se trouve sur la rue Lê Loi, quartier de Vinh Ninh, ville de Huê, province de Thua Thien-Hué.

Quoc Tu Giam fut l’Ecole Nationale ouverte par la Cour pour former les élites intellectuelles de l’état. Au Vietnam, la première école nationale fut ouverte en 1706 à la capitale de Thang Long. Sous l’époque de Gia Long avec la construction du Temple de la Littérature Van Mieu près de la pagode de la Dame Céleste, l’Ecole Nationale vit le jour.

Jusqu’à l’époque de Minh Mang, le nombre d’élèves s’accroît et la dimension de l’école a dû s'étendre. En 1821, Di Luan Duong- l’auditorium fut construit et les 3 autres bâtiments de 20 travées furent réservés à l’internat pour séjourner des élèves. Un mur encerclait 3 côtés de l’école.

En 1908, sous le règne de l’empereur de Duy Tan, l’Ecole Nationale fut déménagée à l’intérieur de la Citadelle. Cette école comprenait un bâtiment de Di Luan Duong situé à la place principale, 2 travées pour les enseignants sur les côtés latéraux. Derrière l’Ecole c’était Tan Tho Vien (actuellement le Musée des Arts de la Cour), sur les deux abords ce furent des résidences des mandarins Te Tuu, Tu Nghiep (Recteur, Recteur Adjoint de l'école). L’école nationale Quoc Tu Giam de Hué reste une des deux universités sous l’époque féodale du Vietnam. Il s’agit d’un site historique et culturel de grande valeur.
